To alleviate the sufferings of the people who were affected by the disaster in several places in Indonesia such as Aceh, Yogya, Pangandaran, Manado and elsewhere, Tahija Foundation and its partners distribute humanitarian aids such as medical workers and medicine, wheel chair and crutches for permanently disabled victims and also financial assistance and other logistics.

In addition to the provision of the above humanitarian aid, The Tahija Foundation also provided 126 units of expandable houses in Yogyakarta areas. The expandable housed were constructed jointly by community members with technical guidance from JRS Indonesia. The expandable houses were constructed for fulfilling the needs for houses (temporary and permanent) following the earthquake in Yogyakarta and Central Java.
